Dear Vander Bent family, we are saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. He was such a wonderful neighbour and a kind and gracious man. We were happy to lend a helping hand with his cattle, and he always had time to visit when he would be checking up on the cattle. Our children enjoyed visiting with Bruce too...a very patient man. It was wonderful that we were able to keep in touch after we moved west, and we are thankful for his encouragement and wise words as we embarked on our dairy adventure.
