Carol, Brian, Daniel, Please accept the heartfelt condolences of Gwen, James and myself on the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Bill. We had a special time together during Bill's career with King Fire Department (as it was at the time) with many hours of hard work at fire calls, many hours at training and also many hours of personal time at Fire Department social functions. At social functions we all got to know the Mitchell family. The contribution of the entire family to the community is a special thing for the family group and is greatly appreciated. We are proud that Bill inspired Brian and Daniel to follow in his footsteps and become valuable members of King Fire & Emergency Services (as it now is known). The contributions of the Mitchell family will always mean a great deal to both colleagues and the residents of King Township. It has always been a special treat to see Bill at our alumni functions since he left active service with the Fire Department. Thank you all for your selfless support of your community.
